Estate Planning

A common misconception about estate planning is that it is only for the wealthy or elderly. The truth is, no matter what stage of life you are in or how much you have to pass on, a well-crafted estate plan will have a positive impact on the lives of your loved ones.

Estate planning is about more than just leaving a financial legacy. Working with a qualified estate planning attorney to develop a customized plan will ensure the following: a guardian is appointed for a minor child, in a medical emergency your healthcare and financial decisions are properly managed, and your end of life medical wishes are observed. Carolina Estate Planning will work with you to translate your goals into an estate plan that provides you peace of mind.

Carolina Estate Planning makes it easy. Between our traditional law office, online platform and home consultation options you can obtain the legal services you need on your terms.

All of our online estate planning services come with an attorney consultation, estate documents drafted to meet your specific legal needs, detailed instructions on how to sign and witness your documents in compliance with the North Carolina Statutes, and instruction on how to activate and use your documents.

Complete your estate plan online in three easy steps with our online platform:

1. Fill out our estate planning questionnaire and schedule your initial consultation with a Carolina Estate Planning attorney.

2. Review the completed questionnaire and discuss the goals you would like your estate plan documents to accomplish with your attorney.

3. Receive your customized documents with detailed instructions on how to sign and witness your documents in compliance with the North Carolina Statutes or schedule a signing ceremony at our Winston-Salem office.

Online estate packages and will pricing are for simple wills with no advanced tax or trust planning. If your situation requires more advanced planning, additional fees may apply. We will always quote you a flat fee rate upfront if your unique situation requires more advanced planning than you have purchased online.
